Worum geht es?

Skalarprodukt: Komponentenweise multiplizieren und addieren – das Ergebnis ist eine Zahl: a⃗⋅b⃗=a1b1+a2b2+a3b3\vec a \cdot \vec b = a_1 b_1 + a_2 b_2 + a_3 b_3. Geometrisch gilt a⃗⋅b⃗=∣a⃗∣⋅∣b⃗∣⋅cos⁡φ\vec a \cdot \vec b = |\vec a| \cdot |\vec b| \cdot \cos\varphi mit dem Winkel 0°≤φ≤180°0° \le \varphi \le 180°, also

cos⁡φ=a⃗⋅b⃗∣a⃗∣⋅∣b⃗∣,z. B. (100)⋅(110)=1,cos⁡φ=11⋅2  ⇒  φ=45°.\cos\varphi = \frac{\vec a \cdot \vec b}{|\vec a| \cdot |\vec b|}, \qquad \text{z. B. } \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 0 \\ 0 \end{pmatrix} \cdot \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 1 \\ 0 \end{pmatrix} = 1, \quad \cos\varphi = \frac{1}{1 \cdot \sqrt2} \;\Rightarrow\; \varphi = 45°.
  • a⃗⋅b⃗>0\vec a \cdot \vec b > 0: spitzer Winkel, <0< 0: stumpfer Winkel, =0= 0: senkrecht (orthogonal).
Bei parallelen Vektoren ist a⃗⋅b⃗=±∣a⃗∣⋅∣b⃗∣\vec a \cdot \vec b = \pm|\vec a| \cdot |\vec b|.

Vektorprodukt (Kreuzprodukt): Das Ergebnis ist ein Vektor. Man schreibt a⃗\vec a und b⃗\vec b nebeneinander, wiederholt die ersten beiden Zeilen darunter und rechnet „über Kreuz“, beginnend in Zeile 2:

a⃗×b⃗=(a2b3−a3b2a3b1−a1b3a1b2−a2b1),(123)×(456)=(12−1512−65−8)=(−36−3).\vec a \times \vec b = \begin{pmatrix} a_2 b_3 - a_3 b_2 \\ a_3 b_1 - a_1 b_3 \\ a_1 b_2 - a_2 b_1 \end{pmatrix}, \qquad \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ 3 \end{pmatrix} \times \begin{pmatrix} 4 \\ 5 \\ 6 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 12 - 15 \\ 12 - 6 \\ 5 - 8 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} -3 \\ 6 \\ -3 \end{pmatrix}.

a⃗×b⃗\vec a \times \vec b steht senkrecht auf a⃗\vec a und b⃗\vec b (Rechte-Hand-Regel), und seine Länge ist die Fläche des Parallelogramms: ∣a⃗×b⃗∣=∣a⃗∣⋅∣b⃗∣⋅sin⁡φ|\vec a \times \vec b| = |\vec a| \cdot |\vec b| \cdot \sin\varphi, hier 9+36+9=54≈7,35\sqrt{9 + 36 + 9} = \sqrt{54} \approx 7{,}35. Das Dreieck hat die halbe Fläche. Es gilt b⃗×a⃗=−(a⃗×b⃗)\vec b \times \vec a = -(\vec a \times \vec b); bei parallelen Vektoren ist a⃗×b⃗=o⃗\vec a \times \vec b = \vec o.

Spatprodukt: ∣(a⃗×b⃗)⋅c⃗∣|(\vec a \times \vec b) \cdot \vec c| ist das Volumen des Spats: Grundfläche G=∣a⃗×b⃗∣G = |\vec a \times \vec b| mal Höhe hh (Projektion von c⃗\vec c auf a⃗×b⃗\vec a \times \vec b).

Aufgaben

Aufgabe 1: Winkel berechnen

Berechne den Winkel zwischen a⃗=(120)\vec a = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 2 \\ 0 \end{pmatrix} und b⃗=(−2−12)\vec b = \begin{pmatrix} -2 \\ -1 \\ 2 \end{pmatrix}. Aufgabe laden

Lösung anzeigen

a⃗⋅b⃗=−2−2+0=−4\vec a \cdot \vec b = -2 - 2 + 0 = -4, ∣a⃗∣=5|\vec a| = \sqrt5, ∣b⃗∣=3|\vec b| = 3. cos⁡φ=−435≈−0,596\cos\varphi = \frac{-4}{3\sqrt5} \approx -0{,}596, also φ≈126,6°\varphi \approx 126{,}6° – stumpf, wie das Minuszeichen verrät. In der Simulation zeigen

Aufgabe 2: Gleich groß

∣cos⁡φ∣=sin⁡φ|\cos\varphi| = \sin\varphi gilt für φ=45°\varphi = 45° und φ=135°\varphi = 135°. Beispiel: a⃗=(100)\vec a = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 0 \\ 0 \end{pmatrix}, b⃗=(110)\vec b = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 1 \\ 0 \end{pmatrix}: a⃗⋅b⃗=1\vec a \cdot \vec b = 1 und a⃗×b⃗=(001)\vec a \times \vec b = \begin{pmatrix} 0 \\ 0 \\ 1 \end{pmatrix} mit Länge 11. In der Simulation zeigen

Aufgabe 3: Normalenvektor und Fläche

a⃗×b⃗=(2⋅6−3⋅53⋅4−1⋅61⋅5−2⋅4)=(−36−3)\vec a \times \vec b = \begin{pmatrix} 2 \cdot 6 - 3 \cdot 5 \\ 3 \cdot 4 - 1 \cdot 6 \\ 1 \cdot 5 - 2 \cdot 4 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} -3 \\ 6 \\ -3 \end{pmatrix}.

    • Vorzeichen oder Indizes der mittleren Komponente werden vertauscht; die Probe (a⃗×b⃗)⋅a⃗=0(\vec a \times \vec b) \cdot \vec a = 0 hilft.
